Ian joined SLAB in 2002 after 18 years as a solicitor in private practice undertaking both civil and criminal court work.
He was Head of Service of the Civil Legal Assistance Office (CLAO) before moving to his current post in which, as SLAB's senior solicitor, he provides legal advice and representation to the organisation, and has overall responsibility for the in-house legal services department.
