Motherwell and Wishaw CAB – Money Advice for Addiewell Prisoners and Families Project

Connecting families in Lanarkshire affected by imprisonment in HMP Addiewell to expert debt and money advice. Families with a relative currently serving a sentence in, or, has recently been released from HMP Addiewell can obtain one to one assistance to resolve debt problems and attend family education workshops in HMP Addiewell visitor centre.

Airdrie CAB – Families First Families, with a child under 8, experiencing a change to their family structure, i.e. the breakdown of a relationship, can obtain debt advice and attend financial capability sessions to help them navigate the impact of the change and prevent debt problems arising in the future.

North Lanarkshire Council – The Financial Inclusion Justice Project Money advice, financial education and income maximisation are provided to service users, and their families, who have been impacted by the justice service; this may include a person who has been involved in offending behaviour or, the partner and family who are left behind following a custodial sentence being imposed.

Airdrie CAB - North Lanarkshire Community Legal Services The In Court Advice project provides legal and debt advice services to those facing homelessness through mortgage repossession and repossession of tenancy in North Lanarkshire.

This national project helps people who are affected by debt and connected welfare benefit changes. DAS  accredited advisers are able to help people with complex debt issues

Deaf Action Money Advice Project

People with hearing difficulties across Scotland receive debt and money advice via PC and Webcam using BSL. Face-to-face advice is available to people with hearing difficulties in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian.

Parkhead CAB – Integrated Debt advice and Support Hub: HMP Barlinnie Families with a relative entering or leaving HMP Barlinnie can receive short-term help to stabile the family finances and resolve any crisis debt matters, and also long-term support and advice on budgeting and financial planning through group and one to one sessions.
