Proceeds of crime cases with different solicitors

We have recently been advised about legal aid difficulties arising in some Proceeds of Crime cases. 

We understand that there have been some difficulties where the sentencing in respect of the complaint or indictment continues after the Proceeds of Crime proceedings have commenced, and different solicitors have been instructed: one for the case at first instance and another for the Proceeds of Crime proceedings.
