Old versions of Civil Financial Eligibility Form 2 will be rejected if submitted after 18 August

We are sending this update because we are still receiving a high volume of old versions of Financial Eligibility Form 2, some of which date back to April 2018.

Please be aware that any new applications received after 18 August which use old versions of Form 2 will be rejected for the correct version to be completed.

Why can you not use an old version of Form 2?

Our update on 21 March 2024 explained that we were making changes to the allowances for the financial eligibility test.

We also explained that Form 2 had been updated to reflect these changes and asked that the updated version be used with immediate effect.

Old versions of Form 2 do not capture the information we need to calculate the allowances that changed in March.

Sending old versions of Form 2 in new applications is delaying our ability to make a decision on your clients’ applications.

We understand that some firms may have a stockpile of printed copies of the old versions and we request that these are destroyed.
