We previously advised you of the new legislative powers that allow us to make payment of interim fee claims without the need for a full account, subject to provisions that will allow for recovery of any overpayments.
The streamlined procedures for submitting interim fee claims simply requires you to provide details of the value of the fees that have been properly incurred to date. The system then calculated and authorised 75% of the fees claimed for payment.
The sums payable will increase to 100% of the fees that you certify have been properly incurred for any claim received on or after 5 August 2020.
These procedures will operate until the expiry of the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020.
