Chair and five board members re-appointed by Minister

On Friday 11 February Ash Regan MSP, the Minister for Community Safety, announced the approved re-appointment to the board of the Chair, Ray Macfarlane, and five members, Sheriff John Morris QC, Brian Baverstock, Stephen Humphreys, Raymond McMenamin and Lesley Ward.

Ray Macfarlane, who was first appointed as a member in April 2010 before taking up the position of Chair in April 2016, has had her term extended to 31 March 2024.

Lesley Ward, who was first appointed as a legal member in April 2016, has also had her term extended to 31 March 2024. Sheriff John Morris QC and Raymond McMenamin have also been re-appointed as legal members, with both their terms extended to 31 March 2026.

Stephen Humphreys and Brian Baverstock have been re-appointed as non-legal members with their terms extended to 31 March 2026.
