 Where you serve a notice (cite) a party that requires to attend (for example a witness or haver) a standard fee is payable regardless of the length of the citation.

It is not paid per page and any claim made in excess of the prescribed fee will be disallowed.

You may also charge this fee where “service” of an initiating document or any other document where a proof of service is required.

Execution

The citation fee includes the framing of the certificate of citation aka execution of service (ie in a Section 101 proof the Form G13 for serving a citation of witness or haver) where the solicitor serves by post.

Advice and Assistance

There is no equivalent “citation” fee as this constitutes representation.
