Stepchange - Debt Advice and Welfare Reform Project

This national project helps people who are affected by debt and connected welfare benefit changes. DAS  accredited advisers are able to help people with complex debt issues

Deaf Action Money Advice Project

People with hearing difficulties across Scotland receive debt and money advice via PC and Webcam using BSL. Face-to-face advice is available to people with hearing difficulties in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian.

Parkhead CAB – Integrated Debt advice and Support Hub: HMP Barlinnie Families with a relative entering or leaving HMP Barlinnie can receive short-term help to stabile the family finances and resolve any crisis debt matters, and also long-term support and advice on budgeting and financial planning through group and one to one sessions.

Shelter - Making Advice Work for Gypsy Travellers The project provides money and benefits advice to travellers’ sites in Edinburgh, Midlothian and Borders through on-site outreach and telephone advice.

Shelter Scotland Housing Law and Debt Advice Project The project aims to help people stave off evictions and repossessions in Tayside and the Boarders. Representation is provided to clients facing heritable court eviction and mortgage repossession actions and also ensures that people who are homeless and have not been able to obtain appropriate alternative accommodation are able to access local advice, assistance and representation.
