Quality assurance scheme

Solicitors registered to provide legal aid services are subject to a quality assurance scheme. This means that periodically their work is reviewed by a peer reviewer, who is another solicitor trained to do quality assurance reviews.

The civil quality assurance scheme is managed by the Law Society of Scotland.
