Changes to our eLearning service for the criminal reforms will be available from 30 June 2008.

Helping you make the most of Legal Aid Online

Our new online eLearning service lets you find out how to use Legal Aid Online. You can learn the topics that are of the most interest to you, and at your own pace.

It is available to everyone - whether you are an existing user or a potential user - and offers a range of course modules.

Our eLearning service has a mixture of information text and gets you involved.  You can navigate around the course at your own pace.  There is a help section which instructs you how to navigate around the course.

The course assumes that users are already familiar with paper-based Advice & Assistance legal aid applications, increases and accounts.

Course structure
The course is made up of six modules - but remember you only need to access the learning topics relevant to your requirements. The course modules and their length are:

  • Module 1: Getting Started -  approx. 15 mins
  • Module 2: Administration (Firm Administrators only) -      approx. 10 mins
  • Module 3: Application - approx. 35 mins
  • Module 4: Increase - approx 30 mins
  • Module 5: Account - approx 25 mins
  • Module 6: Search Case - approx 10 mins
