Scottish Child Law Centre training event - Getting Sibling Contact Right

Monday, May 08, 2017

The Scottish Child Law Centre will hold a masterclass training event on Getting Sibling Contact Right on Thursday 15 June at Foundation Scotland, Edinburgh.

Speakers include Dr Gillian Henderson, from the Scottish Children's Reporters Administration, who will present the findings of her new research, jointly undertaken with Dr Christine Jones at the University of Strathclyde, on “Supporting Sibling Relationships of Children in Permanent Fostering and Adoptive Families”.

The masterclass will provide an opportunity to discuss the research findings and how they apply to practice, and identify the practical barriers to supporting sibling contact and how they might be overcome.

More information on the event and details on how to book a place can be found on SCLC's website.
