The Scottish Legal Aid Board is seeking expressions of interest from companies capable of providing a consolidated service for our software and hardware support contracts for our premises at 38 – 44 Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Interested parties may request our “Pre Qualification Questionnaire” via e mail from younged@slab.org.uk. The information provided will allow the Board to evaluate offers of participation and provide a short list for our restricted procedure.
We envisage six participants in the tender process.
Objective Criteria - Sufficient participants to create a competition
Award Criteria - Most economically advantageous tender in terms of criteria set out in the specification
Closing date - Monday 19th September 2008 @ 5PM (Notes of interest)
Brief description of scope of work
The Board is looking to consolidate a number of it's hardware and software support contracts to cover:
- Server hardware and operating systems
- Cisco Network equipment, cabling and outlets
- Laptop and Desktops
- Mitel telephone system
- Printers, fax machines and scanners
- Air conditioning and environmental monitoring.

INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF: TRADE WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE

The Scottish Legal Aid Board is seeking expressions of interest from companies capable of providing a TRADE WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE from our premises at 38 – 44 Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Interested parties may submit a note of interest in participating in this project via e mail to younged@slab.org.uk simply noting your interest and providing contact details for further communication. Substantial interest will require a first phase of issuing interested parties with a “Pre-Qualification Questionnaire”. The information provided will allow the Board to evaluate offers of participation and provide a short list for our restricted tender procedure. Limited interest will start the tender process as the first phase of the process.

Brief description of scope of work
The Board will purchase refuse sacks from you which we will use for disposal of general waste for landfill. Twice weekly kerbside collections from our premises will be required, comprising approximately 75 bags per uplift.

TO REVIEW PROCESSES AND WORK ALREADY UNDERTAKEN IN RELATION TO THE REPLACEMENT OF THE DEBT RECOVERY UNIT COMPUTER SYSTEM, WHILE IDENTIFYING AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE DEBT RECOVERY UNIT PROCESSES OF THE SCOTTISH LEGAL AID BOARD. TO IDENTIFY IF ANY COMPUTER PACKAGES EXIST WHICH MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THESE PROCESSES WHILE COMPLYING WITH THE BOARD'S CORPORATE PLAN AND ITS INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS POLICY.
