Board Members and how we are managed
Our work is overseen by Board Members, who are appointed by Scottish Ministers (the number of Members can vary between 11 and 15). To provide a balanced range of knowledge and experience, they include people from the wider community as well as solicitors and advocates.
The
Board operates a register of Board Members’ interests in line
with the Code of Best Practice for Board Members of Public Bodies.
This requires members to notify us of all relevant interests. The
register is updated on a quarterly basis and is available for inspection
upon request at our offices and below on this site.
